The Department of Nuclear Medicine at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine is one of the most established and pioneering centers in our country in its field. The department, which has been providing uninterrupted service for approximately 50 years, has made a name for itself in national and international medical circles by carrying out many scientific researches and innovative breakthroughs in its field with the efforts of its faculty members and other auxiliary health personnel, many of whom are now retired and others who are still actively continuing their professional lives.

Completely thanks to the donations of philanthropists, the hospital provides high quality health services to our people with the most modern equipment and fittings, in an area of ​​approximately 3500 m2, including the additional building built in 2004 and enlarged in 2014 using the same method, and with the devoted efforts of a highly respected academic physician staff and nearly 65 healthcare personnel.
