VoxAlign Deformation Engine™
This tool is the world’s first deformable alignment algorithm designed for CT-CT alignment. This algorithm collects more data from the images, allowing for more accurate alignment.
In contrast to the mutual information method, this intensity-based method maps two scan images using the entire CT contrast screen. It also provides millions of degrees of freedom for alignment, so that both local and global changes in anatomy are taken into account.
Most algorithms would take hours to achieve this level of accuracy, our tool does it in seconds.

MIM’s atlas-based segmentation is one of the world’s first automated contouring tools, reducing the time spent on contouring by IMRT. MIM saves time and provides stability by creating atlas libraries. MIM Maestro is the only truly customizable solution, allowing you to create your own atlases with previously contoured patients.
Adaptive Contouring
Planning takes minutes, not hours!
Adaptive planning with MIM is used as a clinical application in many oncology centers. MIM is the first software that automatically prepares entire structure sets, such as target volumes, for planning CTs during treatment. Planning now takes minutes, not hours.
4D Binning
All 4D processing work can be done in one system.
MIM Maestro’s 4D binning feature can automate phase-based and amplitude-based binning, reducing the need for data acquisition workstations. Automatic contour spreading allows contouring in one gated phase to be deformed to all gated phases in less than a minute. Contours in each gated phase can then be converted to a clinically appropriate ITV with a single click.
The ITV accurately displays the entire range of motion of the tumor during the different phases of the patient’s respiratory cycle. PET/CT, MR and dose can be aligned simultaneously to a single phase, maximum IP/average IP or cine.
Deformable Registration QA - Reg Revel & Reg Refine
Reg Reveal is the first and only patient-based deformable alignment, quality assurance and reporting environment. This tool provides the ability to check the results of deformable alignment and provides assurance like no other software.
The Reg Refine tool takes deformable alignment one step further, allowing clinicians to both detect and correct areas where deformation is suboptimal. The ability to use this unique deformable assessment and correction function repeatedly has fundamentally changed the way deformable alignment is performed for important tasks such as dose accumulation, alignment of diagnostic images, and planning of CTs.

Multimodality deformable alignment is a difficult problem to solve. Before the invention of the Reg Reveal tool, an even more difficult task was to determine whether the alignment was correct. Deformable PET/CT | Best PET Target Volume Contouring
From initial PET/CT alignment to contouring of GTVs, MIM Maestro offers a solution for combining PET images with treatment planning CTs. The PET Edge™ tool for MIM accurately and consistently contours severe PET lesions.
PET Edge is a gradient-based technique. It automatically generates contour boundaries by detecting the steepest descent in PET activity, making it statistically more accurate than the general threshold technique. This tool provides consistent results when drawing tumor volumes on PET images, regardless of visual contrast.
Dose Accumulation
Any number of plans can be accumulated deformably.
Using MIM Maestro and the VoxAlign Deformation Engine together, you can quickly deform multiple doses and transfer them to the new treatment planning CT to better visualize the total dose to the patient.
